Systematic Identification of MicroPLastics in the Environment

Developed by Aalborg University, Denmark and Alfred Wegener Institute, Germany

siMPle is a freeware for the fast detection of microplatic materials in environmental samples. Its algorithm compares the IR spectra of the sample with each reference spectra in the database, then assigns a material to them along with a probability score.
